About Me

I am a mother of two, wife, life long athlete, former critical care nurse, now CrossFit L1 coach, and Three Pillars Method nutrition coach. While “diet” has always been a driving factor of how I eat, I’ve seen first hand what good NUTRITION can do for you!

It’s amazing what enough fruits, vegetables, and a protein can do for a body. A study found the risk of cancer, stroke, cardiovascular disease, and all cause mortality was reduced when people ate 800g of fruits and vegetables per day. (Aune et al, 2017) Anecdotally, my clients have often reported feeling better in the first week, and improved performance within the first month.

Yes, total calories determines your body weight, but the quality of those calories matters. I’ve gone from thinking I need to starve myself to lose weight (which might work in the short term), to finding out just how much I can eat, while still reaching my goals. Hint: it’s a lot, when you’re filling up on fruits and veggies! Plus, it’s sustainable for the long term.
